^In a randomized, double-blinded, placebo- controlled study of 112 healthy volunteers, subjects taking the GNC vitamin and minerals blend for six weeks experienced significant improvements in serum levels of certain key ingredients compared to placebo and a basic multivitamin formula based upon multivariate statistical analyses of a group B vitamins (thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, biotin folic acid, and vitamin b-6 and b-12) and key antioxidants and carotenoids (a group of beta-carotene, alpha-tocopherol, selenium, lutein and lycopene). Statistical improvements in SF-36 Vitality and Mental Health scores were observed and also observed compared to placebo.

♦In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study, 19 volunteers consumed 3 does of resVida® (30 mg, 90 mg, 270 mg) and a placebo at weekly intervals. Flow-mediated dilation (FMD) of the brachial artery was measured one hour after ingestion of each treatment and was significantly increased at all 3 doses relative to placebo. 30 mg of resVida® demonstrated 2.5% greater increase in FMD relative to placebo.
